If you are a Royals fan, you may very well feel the same way.
Every time that I read the "Power Rankings" on ESPN.com or CBSSportsline.com, I get the feeling that the writers have no idea what they are talking about. Their mistake is in trying to figure out a way to rank the prowess of 32 teams, many of which they have never seen play an entire game. While it is possible that the writers sit and watch a Royals game a few times a year, I do not think that they analyze the team very well.
For example, May 27th's CBSSportsline.com
The writer of this article has no idea what Dayton Moore's plan is. The Royals needed a power bat from the right side of the plate, so that's what they went out and got.
National sports reporters talk about the Royals and have no idea what they are talking about.
Here, you will get analysis of the realities of the Royals' performance as well as in-depth analysis.
I will spotlight players, game results and trends, giving you stories which focus solely on the the team which plays at one of the most beautiful stadiums in the world.
